Tho Chancellor of the Exchequer, Mr. Philip Snowden, and tho Leader of tho Liberal Party, Mr. Lloyd George, were among the guests at Mrs. Snowdon's second " free trado luncheon" at Downing Street.

According to the Times plans were drawn up for a freo trado campaign throughout tho country. It was arranged to hold a conference after Easter with business men, trades unionists, co-opera-tors and economists for the purpose of stating tho caso for freo trade under modern conditions.

Tho conference is to bo followed by public demonstrations at the leading centres.

It is suggested that Mr. Snowden and Mr. Lloyd George may bo seen on the same platform at tho Albert Hall. Arrangements aro being made to open a fund to finance the campaign.
