INJURIES TO CYCLISTS.

COLLISIONS WITH CARS.

A compound fracture of the leg was received by a motor-cyclist, Mr. Arthur Sheffield, aged 27. of 4, Marston Street, Parnell, as a result of a collision with a taxi at the corner of Remuera Road and Broadway, Newmarket, about seven o'clock last evening. Mr. Sheffield was riding along Broadway in the directon of Manukau Road and the taxi was turning into Remuera Road. Mr. Sheffield's leg was struck by the car. He was admitted to tho Auckland Hospital. Minor injuries were received by a cyclist, Mr. Patterson, of 10, Halesowen Avenue, Santlringham, in a collision with a motor-car in Balmoral Road .about seven o'clock last evening. Ho was taken by the St. John Ambulance to the Auckland Hospital suffering from a scalp wound and abrasions. After receiving attention ho was able to go home.
