SCHOOL DENTAL CLINICS.
CAMPAIGN AT HUAPAI.
A meeting of Huapai householders took placo on Monday evening to discuss the establishment of a dental clinic at the Huapai school. Mr. W. H. Malins, chairman of tho School Committee, presided, and outlined the scheme, stating that the district would be required to raise the sum of £6O. A committee was formed to make a house-to-house canvass of th® district to raise the mon?y.
THE HENDERSON OLINIO. SATISFACTORY YEAR'S WORK. In tlio report of the Henderson district dental clinic, which will be submitted to a mooting of householders next Monday, the chairman of tii3 local school committee states that steady progress lias been made during the part year. Tho number of operations totalled 3938, which alone showed that the clinic had more than justified its existence. Seven schools had been served by tho clinic, these being Henderson, Glen Eden, Swanson, Henderson Valley, To Atatu, Oratia and West Coast. The committee expressed appreciation of thd work of Mrs. A. Bussey, who hud acted as secretary since the inauguration of the clinic, and of Nurse Cochrane, who was in charge.
