THAMES, Wednesday
The Thames volunteer fire brigade lias elected tho following officers:—Superintendent, Mr. A. Garrett; deputy-superin-tendent, Mr. A. Fleming; south foreir.au, Mr. E. Kenny; north foreman, Mr. F. Wilton; secretary, Mr. J. C. Scott; treasurer, Mr. J. Pratt; librarians, Messrs. F. Wilton and A. Lomas.
The following service honours were presented L. Jenkln, completing 27 yeirsj service; R. Dovell, completing 15 yell's service. It was decided to enter for all eventii at the Dargaville Easter demonstration.
