METHODIST CHURCH.
ONEHUNGA ACTIVITIES. The exhibition of pictures'at the Sunday overling services of tho Auckland Methodist Mission formed the subject of a report made to the quarterly meeting of the Onehunga Methodist Circuit by Mr. W. Archer. Several members were of opinion that the pictures were of valuo in helping the gcnoral work of the mission.
Reports showed that all tho Sunday Schools in tho circuit wore progressing favourably. It was stated that the* circuit finances were not satisfactory and a committee was appointed to deal with tho matter. '
It was decided to hold a combined rally of all the Bible classes at Onehunga 011 young pcopfe's day. It was decided to hold tho services at the Westney Road Church at Mangcre in the mornings during tho winter, instead of the evenings. Mr. V. Fletchor was received as a lay preacher and was welcomed by tho superintendent of the circuit, the Rev. P. E. Leadley. Miss M. L. Carver is to be recommended to the English National Sunday 'School Union for a diploma of honour, after 27 years as a teacher in the Onehunga Sunday School.
