A TEN PER CENT. FALL.
Ticket sales at tho Auckland railway station and the three city booking offices for tho financial year 1929-30 show decreases in number and value approximating 10 per cent., as compared with the previous year's figures. The returns take no account of sales mode at the Mount Eden station, which is the terminus of a largo suburban traffic. . ,
The Ivarangahape Road booking office was open during 47 weeks of tho year, namely, since May 6, 1929. The other two offices were opened for business in 1928.
