ERECTING NEW BLOCK. [by telegraph.—press association. ) WELLINGTON'. Monday. A contract was to-dny let to the Fletcher Construction Company, of Wellington, for the erection of the first portion of the new block at the Nelson Girls College. Reinforced concrete will be used to minimise tho danger of damage by future earthquakes.
