TEXTILE TRADE WAGES. SERIOUS STOPPAGE FEARED. PRAYERS FOR A SETTLEMENT. By Telcßrnph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received March 31. 10.5 p.m.) LONDON'. March 31. A meeting of textile workers of Yorkshire on Saturday has strengthened the belief of the trades union executives that they will cease work when tho cuts in wages take effect on April 12. Representatives of the general council of tho Trades Union Congress are visiting Bradford. They hope tho Ministry of Labour will interveno to avert a prolonged stoppage. At present, however, there are no indications of either side, giving way. Prayers for a wiso and just settlement uero offered in all the Anglican and Free Churches in Yorkshire yesterday.
