FATAL CYCLE COLLSSION. MAN DIES IN HOSPITAL. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, Monday. George Albert Broadfoot. aged 25, died in the hospital last evening from injuries received in a head-on collision between two motor-cycles at Karori yesterday. The other rider, D. M. Smith, was badly injured. MOTOR-CYCLISTS INJURED. TWO WELLINGTON ACCIDENTS. [BX TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, Monday. T. P. Fleicroft, a shop assistant, received a compound fracture of his right leg in a collision between two motor-cycles at Kilbirnie yesterday. J. Carr, an engineer, fell from his motor-cycle at Paraparaumu yesterday and had tho tips of his right hand fingers and the first finger of his left hand cut off.

An inquest on the victims of tho motor fatality on the Waioeka Road, Frederick Cracknell,, aged 60, and his wife, Mary Ann Cracknel], aged 54, was opened at Opotiki this morning before tho coroner, Mr. F, J. Short,
Evidence of identification was given by Charles Ernest Owen. He said that Cracknell had bought a second-hand motor-car about two weeks ago, and as far as witness knew, he had had only two lessons, and had no driver's licence. The inquest will be resumed on Wednesday. ' OAR LEAVES THE ROAD. DRIVER'S FATAL INJURIES. [by telegraph.—press association.] CHRISTCHURCH, Monday. Edward Patrick Coakley, a farmer of Spring Terrace, Cheviot, was killed when his motor-car left tho road on Saturday evening as he was returning home along tho Leamington Road. He was a single man, aged ?2. '
COLLISION AT INGLEWOOD. INJURIES TO TWO MEN. [by telegraph.—own correspondent.] NEW PLYMOUTH, Monday. Two cars collided at Inglewood last night and as a re&ult two young men, Messrs. W. Moorhead and C. Lopdell, of New Plymouth, were sent to hospital suffering from head injuries. The car in which the men were injured was proceeding to New Plymouth. Both cars were severely damaged. KNOCKED DOWN BY BUS. CHILD DIES IN HOSPITAL. [by telegraph.—PßESS association.] NEW PLYMOUTH, Monday. A four-year-old child, Bruce McNue, was knocked down by a bus at Opunake yesterday, and received injuries to the head. The child was taken to tho Hawera Hospital, but he died this evening. It is- said that tho boy ran out across the road in front of the bus. MOTOR-LORRY WRECKED. OCCUPANTS SLIGHTLY INJURED. [by telegraph.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WAIHI, Mbnduy. A half-ton motor-lorry, owned by Mr. \V. Shandley, of Waihi, was practically wrecked in a collision with a motor-car, owned and driven by Mr. Oswald Kennedy, motor engineer, of Newmarket, on a bend in tho Waihi-Paeroa Road, near Karangahake on Saturday evening. One of the occupants of tho lorry, Mr. Edward McCullough, of Waihi, sustained cuts to his face and hand, the latter wound needing several stitchas. All the others, including the motor-car driver, escaped with a shaking. One front wheel of the car was' torn off.
