THE WOOL SEASON.
FINAL WANGANUI SALE. BIDDING AT LOWER PRICES. [BY TELEGRAPH.— PHF.SS ASSOCIATION.] WANGANUI, Monday. The wool-selling season closed here today, when about 8000 bales were submitted. There was a good attendance of buyers, and bidding was keen up to a point and well spread among the various sections of buyers. Bradford was prominent and probably secured tho majority of flecco wools.
Prices showed a decline on the last sale, floeco bejng from a halfpenny to a penny lower. Medium, seedy and shabby showed the most decline, coarso free wools possibly being not more than a halfpenny lower. Following is the official range of prices at today's sale, rates at the salo on March 3 also being given:—
