the akarana club. CRUISING AND HARBOUR RACES. The Akarana Yacht Club will hold a series of cruising and harbour races tomorrow afternoon. The keel yachts, mullet boats, lCft. and 18ft. open and halfdecked boats and launches will race to Matiatia, and the M. T and Y classes will compete over harbour courses. Largo entries have been received, and some esting racing is anticipated All evwita will start between a mark buoy and the launch Pakeha moored in Judge a Bay. OUTBOARD RACING. RACE TO ISLINGTON BAY. The outboard division of the New Zealand Power-Boat Association will hold a marathon race for outboard molor-boa s tomorrow afternoon. The course will be from King's Wharf to Islington Bay. The entries are as follows* —Bouzo Junior, British Maid. Red Streak. Nymph Junior lastime. Silvertovvn Kid, Kedskin, Bluestreak, Chief, C.G.G.. Marquette Pug. Tho Power-Boat Association will nola a picnic at Islington Bay, and in all probability races for outboards will be held at the finish of the marathon race.
