THIEVES AT A TOMB.
UNSUCCESSFUL EFFORTS. BURIED VALUABLES SOUGHT. (Received March 23, 5.35 p.m.) PARIS, March 22. Thieves attempted to rob the tomb of Gaby in St. Pierre Cemetery, Marseilles. Their object was to secure precious gems and other valuables said to have been buried with the one time famous actress. The robbers removed a large slab, but &'strong, bolted door resisted their every effort to penetrate it.
