WEEK-END WEATHER.
CONDITIONS IN SOUTH. Auckland.—Beautiful summer weather prevailed during the week-end until yesterday afternoon when the sky was dull and cloudy and very light rain fell for a short period. The wind was light and varied, being from the south-west on Saturday and from the north-east yesterday. The barometer fell slightly yesterday afternoon, but was steady at 29.95 in. last night. Wellington.—The rain on Friday night lasted about two hours only and there was bright sunshine on Saturday morning. However, the clouds became thick as the day wore. During the night the wind changed and although there was intermittent sunshine yesterday morning the afternoon was overcast.
Christchurch. —The rain on Friday night was of brief duration. Over the weekend, the weather was dull, with occasional glimpses of sunshine. The sky was heavily overcast last evening and the barometer was falling steadily. Dunedin.—Fine clear weather was experienced in Dunedin on Saturday, o\er nine hours sunshine being recorded. Th« barometer was high, but showed a falling tendency. Yesterday was dull but pleas- | antly fine, with a light north-east wind.
