IMPORTS OF FERTILISER.
TWO MORE VESSELS ARRIVE. OTHER STEAMERS DUE SHORTLY. Two large overseas vessels, the motorship Westmoor and the steamer Sinnington Court, reached Auckland from Antwerp Yesterday morning with full cargoes of basic slag, all for Auckland. The Westmoor has 7500 tons and the Sinnington Court 8700 tons. The Westmoor came to Auckland by the shortest route, through the Panama Canal. She is the faster of the two vessels and averaged aljout ten knots during the voyage. The Sinnington Court made the voyage from Antwerp via tho Cape of Good 1 Hope, which is about 1000 miles longer than the Panama route. She averaged only a little over eight knots for the voyage. In addition to the cargoes of the Westmoor and Sinnington Court over 20,000 tons of fertilisers will, reach Auckland from overseas within the next two weeks. The motorship Roseric is due from Nauru Island on Wednesday and the Ruapehu and Kia Ora from Antwerp on March 31 and April 3 respectively. .The Roseric has a full cargo of phosphates and the Ruapehu and Kia Ora each has a large cargo of basic slag. f
