WEDDINGS.

BUISSON—ST. CLAIR WHYTE. The wedding was celebrated at St. Mark's Church, Remuera, on Saturday evening of Miss Olive Thelma. St. Clair Whyte, eldur daughter of Captain and Mrs. A. St.. Clair Wliyte, of Lymvood, Portland Road, Remuera, to Mr. Huon Martyn Buisson, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Buisson, of Waterloo Quadrant, Auckland. The Rev. G. C. Cruickshank performed the ceremony. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a frock of lace embossed in a rose design. Ruched circlets of ivory tullo bordered the hem, while the waist, which was defined with a wide pouching of tulle, was finished at one side with a large French bow of ivory taffeta. A spray of orange blossom was worn on one shoulder and also ornamented the hip bow. Her veil of ivory tulle, which formed a long train, was inset in tins corners with Vandykes of lace and was held in place with a Juliette cap of laca finished at cither side with clusters of orange blossom. She carried a sheaf of white flowers. In attendance as bridesmaids were Miss Nance St. Clair Whyte, sister of the bride, Miss Gwen Buisson, sister of the bridegroom, and Miss Isobel Reece. They 'were dressed respectively in frocks of rose,, mauve and apricot tulle, similarly made, tho bodices being of polka-dotted tulle and the bouffant ski tits of layers of tulle in diagonal tiers shading from pale to deeper tones. A large velvet bow was worn on ono side of the waistline, the ends falling to the uneven hem. Their Julietto caps gold lace were caught with clusters of pearls at either side, and they earned gold baskets of flowers toning with their frocks. Little Patricia White was train-bearer and wore a Victorian frock of lupin-blue satin and a gold Juliette cap embroidered on either side with clusters of blue flowers. Tho bridegroom was attended by Mr. John Gray as best man, and Mr. Robert Laery and Mr." Alfred Dannefaerd were groomsmen. Assisting as ushers were Mr. Gordon Palmer, Mr. Ngata Piteaithdy, Mr. K. Storey and Mr. Murray Hunter. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the Pacific Club, where floral decorations in pink and white made a charming setting for the bridal group. Mrs. St. Clair Whyte wore a frock and coatee of dove grey georgette, the full skirt having diagonal tiers and a fitting grey hat trimmed with lace. She carried a bouquet of lupin-blue flowers. Mrs. Buisson, mqther of the bridegroom, was in black embossed ninon ensemble, with an uneven hem, and a black hat. G WILLIAM—HALL. At St. Jude's Anglican Church, Avondale, the wedding was celebrated on Saturday evening of Miss Sache Hall, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Hall, of Browii Street. Avondale. and Mr. Kenneth David G william, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Gwilliam, of Moa Road, Point Chevalier. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Alfred Drake, and Mrs H. A V Bollard played the Wedding March." Entering the church with her father, the bride wore a < frock.of pastelpink georgette over satin, "ho bodice, which was inset with Vandykes of lace, was joined at a low waist-line to a skut of two flared tiers slightly dipping at the back to form an uneven hem-line. Her embroidered tulle veil was also of palest pink, with a lace cap hold in place with strands of orange blossoms and finished with ear clusters at either side. She carried a pink shower bouquet. _ Attending the bride was her sister, Miss Edna Hall who wore a frock of palm-green georgette, the skirt falling in liandkeichief points over a hem of silver lace. A band of silver ribbon encircled the waist and was caught at one side with a diamante buckle. A spray of green leaves was worn on her head and a shower bouquct to tone was carried. Mr. E. Matson was best man. After the ceremony a reception was held in St. Jude s Hall, where the hostess, Mrs. H. W. Hall, leceived her guests wearing a frock of fawn embroidered crepe do chine with hat to Lone.
