LATE MR. HOOTON.

The funeral of the late Mr. J. P. Hooton, of Mount Eden, whose death occurred on Friday, took place at the Waikumete Cemetery yesterday. The late Mr. Hooton is survival by his widow, one daughter, Miss N. E. Hooton, and ■ one son, Mr- A. J. Hooton, of Mount Eden. The only surviving brother is Mr. W. Hooton, of Albany.
