PRESENTATIONS.
A presentation was made to AssistantScoutmaster A. Allen, prior to his departure for Suva, by the committee and members, of the First Glen Eden-Hender-son Troop of Boy Scouts. In making the presentation, Mr. J. Edleston referred to the splendid work done by Mr. Allen, to whose efforts the formation of tho locaJ troop had been largely clue. Mr. Allen suitably replied. A presentation was made on Saturday to Miss ..Mabel Oliver, in recognition ci her establishment of a world endnranca record for light motor-cars at Man govs on February 21, by the local agents for the cars. Mis 3 Oliver's capabilities and endurance powers in her arduous 24 hour* drive were referred to by speakers.
