PROPOSAL BY GOVERNMENT.
LONDON. March 20.
The standing committee on the Traffic Bill accepted, the Government's proposal to abolish the speed limit. The Minister of Transport, Mr. Herbert Morrison, hinted at. new steps to maintain the safety of the roads,, and more,severe penalties for dangerous driving.
