ANNUAL MEETINGS HELD, THE UNIVERSITY: CLUB. i The annual , general meeting .of the Auckland University Football Club was held at the University College, the president, Professor R. M. Algie, 'presiding. I In pursuance .of a notice of motion . given by the chairman of the executive committee, Mr. L. E. Brooker,'a new set of rules for the constitution find government of the club was submitted for the consideration of the meeting. Vigorous opposition' was offered to some of the proposed changes, but with the exception pf a minor" amendment the new rules as read were adopted by the meeting. After the presentation and adoption of the annual report and balance-sheet, the following officers were elected: —President, Professor R. M. Algie; vice-presidents, Professor Bartrum, Mr. M. R. O'Shea; club captain, Mr. L. E. Brooker; secretary, Mr. W. M. Milliken; treasurer, Mr.' D. O'Halloran; auditor, Mr. Irving; senior selector, Mr. L. R. B. Hardy; junior selectors, Messrs. C. T. Keegan, M. Cashmore, A. Craig; delegates to the A.R.U., Messrs. C. T.. Keegan, A. Gray, A. A. "Lucas; delegates to the N.Z.U.F.C., Mr. Pope; delegates to the junior management board, Mr. A. Craig; committee, Messrs. A. A. Bodley, N. Cashmore, J. I. Dodd, R Harrop, R. Hoskincr, A. Keene, and D. McKay. A motion of congratulation to Mr. P. C. Minus on his winning a Rhodes Scholarship was carried by acclamation^ TECHNICAL COLLEGE OLD BOYS. The annual meeting of the • Technical College Old Boys' Rugby Football Club was attended by over 80 members, a noticeable feature being the many new members. The report stated that five teams were entered in the competitions last year, and all .met with a fair measure of success. The senior fifteen, playing for the first time in A grade, gaining confidence toward the end of the-season, finished up with nine consecutive wins, winning the Auckland- Rugby Union's subsidiary Pollard Cup competition. Among the juniors the fourth grade .team was especially worthy of mention. .The statement of accounts disclosed a sound financial position. Messrs. W. Coll and C. Keane were congratulated on gaining representative honours, and caps were presented to those members who had gained their places in the senior fifteen. The following officers were elected:— Patron; Mr.' G. J. Park; president, Mr. Rl H. Cooper; secretary, Mr. A. T. Olsen; assistant secretary, Mr. R. M. Harris; treasurer, Mr. J. Malcolm; assistant treasurer. Mr. R. Kennerley; club captain, Mr. M. Grant; honorary auditor,. Mr. R. F. Galbraith; committee, Messrs. T. Studd, R. Porteous, M. Turbott, G. Smith, A.. Blow, J. Hogg; delegates to the Auckland Rugby Union, Messrs. R. H. Cooper, R. F. Galbraith, W. H. Huband; delegate to the junior management board, Mr. R. F. Galbraith. It was decided to enter teams in all grades for the ensuing season, and that practices should commence next Wednesday at the Grafton training shed. THE SUBURBS CLUB. The annual meeting of the Suburbs Rugby Football Club was held at Avondale; the. president of the club, Mr. W. V. Kelsall, presiding. The president advised all present to take more interest in the club, and the | followers of the game locally would then •give them more support. The president said he looked forward to a prosperous and busy season. ' j ' •- The following officers wero elected: — Patron, Mr. W. J. Tait; president, Mr. W. V. Kelsall; secretary, Mr. S. Hardman; treasurer, Mr. N. ; auditor,. Mr. D. R. Garrard; management committee, Messrs. Billingham, Baker, Bellini, Orrell. Greerismith, Thorn, _McLeocT; delegate to the junior advisory board, Mr. N. Robertson; club captain, Mr. R. Billingham; team managers, Messrs. F. Turner, R. Billingham, C. Grey. G. Stokes, J. Hollier, P. J. Morrish.' Goodall; social committee, Messrs. H. Thorn, G. Orrell, L. Journing. It was agreed that subscription fees for players be the same as those fixed last year. NEW ZEALAND UNION. The annual meeting of delegates to the New Zealand Rugby Union will be h;ld in Wellington on Thursday, April 10. In view of the tour of the British Rugby team several interesting points will be discussed, chief among which will be the question of reverting to the old rules" throughout the Dominion. CLUBS AT MORRINSVILLE. [by telegraph.—own correspondent.] MORRINSVILLE. Friday. There was a record attendance at the annual meeting of the Terriers Rugby Football Club. The balance-sheet showed a credit of £5. The report showed that the past season had been very successful. Congratulations were extended to Anderson, who had played for the North Island. Tho election of officers resulted :—Patron, Dr. F. Campbell; president, Mrs. F. J. Marshall; secretary, Mr. C. Mr. A. Gillespie; delegates to Morrinsville Rugby Union, Messrs. H. A. Eirrit, J. R. McCoombe and L. E. Pole; coach, N. F. Barker; selectors, Messrs. Pole, Barker and club captain; junior manager, Mr. A. Gillespie; management committee, Messrs. Pirrit, McCoomb. Mallett and Gillespie. Mr. C. H. Mclntyre was elected a life member of the club. Twenty-four new members weiro elected. Keen interest was taken in the annual meeting of the United iootball Club, held at Tauhei. The election of officers resulted :--Patron, Mr. J. H. Ford; president, Mr. B. E. Arnold; selector, Mr. W. Dench; delegates to Morrinsville Rugby Union, MesSis. Mc--Davitt, Ford and Dench; secretary and treasurer, Mr. R. H. Haycock; committee, Messrs. G. Marshall, F« Jack, A. Cameron, C. Peebles, W. Dench and G. Lingard. A notice of motion to be forwarded to the Morrinsville Rngbv Union recommended that the offices of secretary and selector should not be held by the same person.
