The Duchess of Hamilton shows her love for animals in a practical way and never wears real fur.
The dress of sapphire blue velvet on a background of gold lame which she wore at the wedding of her daughter, Lady Margaret Douglas-Hamiltoh, had a trimming of golden brown fur of the artificial kind.
