Notice is hereby given that it is the intention of the Auckland Transport Board (hereinafter called "the Board*) to apply to His Excellency the Governor-General-in-Cotmcil for an Order-in-Council under the provisions of "The Tramways Act, 1903," and its amendments (unless forbidden by tho ratepayers in manner prescribed by the said Act) to authorise the extension of tlie tramways known as the Auckland Electric Tramways. The particulars of the proposed undertaking are as follows: (a) The construction of a double line of tramway from the present terminus near the junction of Pencarrow Ave--nuo with Mount Eden Road, along Mount Eden Road and Three Kings Road to the intersection of tho latter road with Mount Albert Road, the tramway to be worked by means of overhead electric traction known ns tho overhead trolley system with un- ] insulated return in the same manner as the present electric tramways in the City and Suburbs of Auckland.
