YOUTH'S ROWDY BEHAVIOUR.
ASSAULT IN BILLIARD SALOON
" This is your last chance. If you misbehave yourself again I will send you to prison," said tho magistrate, Mr. F. K. Hunt, in the Polica Court' yesterday, when Albert Edward Butler was charged with assaulting Paul Greshok, of Henderson, billiard saloon proprietor. Accused was also charged with damaging a billiard cue, the property of Greshek. He pleaded guilty to both charges. Senior-Sergeant O'Grady said accused had entered a billiard saloon at Henderson and had tried to take the cue from a man who was playing at one of the tables. A scuffle ensued and Greshek intervened, whereupon accused had turned round and assaulted him. Constablo Rushton, of Henderson, said accused was under the influence of liquor at the time, and had apparently gone into the saloon looking for trouble. Tho prosecution should bo a lesson to him, for he had been convicted previously of disorderly behaviour. The magistrate said accused had been given a chance and had failed to improve j his behaviour. He would accept Con- j stable Rushton's assurance that the prosecution would be a good lesson to him, and would give him one more chance. Accused was fined £2, with costs 10s, in default seven days' imprisonment.- On I the second charge he was convicted and j ordered to make good the damage. I
