Mr. W. Peterson, chief engineer of the Government steamer Tutanekai. is to leave Wellington for London by the Corinthic on April 9. He will supervise the work of fitting _ the engines into the new steamer which is being built for the New Zealand Government to replace the Tutanekai. The new vessel is expected to reach New Zealand next October.
