NOTICE OF APPEAL GIVEN. ORDER REGARDING COSTS. SYDNEY, March 20. Sydney Ferries, Limited, has lodged notice of appeal to the Full Court against the judgment of Mr. Justice Halse Rogers in the action arising out of the collision between the Tahiti and the Greycliffe, which was delivered on December 20 last.

An application by t-lie Union Steam Ship Company that the Ferry Company, the plaintiff, should pay the costs of that action, was refused to-day hy Mr. Justice Halse Rogers, who directed that the Ferry Company should Jpe liable only for its own' general costs, and not for the costs of its rebuttal of the evidence brought by the defendant.
