By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received March 20. 11.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, March 20. There was no outstanding development in connection with the coalmining dispute. The Prime Minister, Mr. J. H. Seullin, indicated that he could not attend the miners' convention as requested yesterday. The mineowners announce that they have received many additional applications for work and several collieries are being prepared for a resumption of operations.

The firm of Howard Smith, Limited, announces that it lost £57,000 on its northern collieries last year owing to the dispute.
