STORM IN THE CHANNEL,

AIR SERVICES DELAYED. British "Wireless. RUGBY, March 19. Wintry weather prevails over the greater part of the British Isles, and more or less heavy snowfalls are reported. Owing to a snowstorm in the Channel the air services were dislocated. .■ No machines left Croydon this morning, and two air liners which were flying from Paris to London, as it was impossible to get across the Channel, landed near the French coast. Early this afternoon, when the weather cleared a little, several machines crossed the Channel.

Shipping was delayed in the Channel, and gun signals Were fired from the Admiralty pier at Folkestone, to guide passing vessels.
