This is one of a series of HIQHLANDER Recipes appearing each fortnight—cut them out and keep them by you. Meringue— , RECIPE. — 4 tablespoonsful"High- 2 tnblespoonsful Cornlander" Milk diluted flour, 2 eggs. Vanilla in sufficient water to to taste, make one pint of liquid. METHOD.— , . . ( Blend the cornflour with a little of the milk. Put the remainder of fhp milk on to boil. When boiling stir in the cornflour. Cook for 2to 3 minutes, stirring well.. Add the yolks of the eggsn) and stir in the vanilla. Pour, into a greased pie dish and bake m a moderate oven for about 10 minutes. Have the whites of egg. heaten stifflv, add one teaspoonful sugar.
