THE PAPAKURA CLUB.
The Papakura Club has elected the follow, ing officers for the ensuing season: —President. Mr. E. D. McLennan; -vftce-presidents, Messrs. A. R. McLennan and P. J. Parker; captain. Mr. W. A. Pavittj secretary. Mr. A. Wishart; committee, Mrs. G. M. Tilston. Mrs. H. Walters, Miss O'Callaghan, Dr. W. G. Bridgman. and Messrs. J. Langford, J. E. Elliott and G. M. Tilston; auditor, Mr. Tilston. The new season opens with a membership of 77, against 71 last season. The opening date has yet to be announced by the committee. PUKEKOHE CLUB'S SEASON. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] PUKEKOHE, Thursday. The Pukekohe Golf Club held its annual meeting last evening, the president, Mr. J. .Roulston presiding. About 40 members were present. The report presented lecorded that during the past season, the membership had increased by 13 to 82. The standard of play had improved. During the year wet weather made ground conditions bo bad at times that the executive had to consider another site for the course. Arrangements had been made for the use of the Franklin Racing Club's property Jot this purpose, and work on the formation of a golf course there by the club was now well forward. Mr. W. G. Brosnahan was elected a life member of the club in appreciation of services rendered. Officers elected for the ensuing year were: —President, Mr. Roulston; vice-presidents, Dr. A. T. Begg and Mr. A. H. lapper; captain, Mr. H. H. O'Loughlin; vice-captain. Dr. J. McWhirter; secretary and treasurer, Mr. H. E. Kisaling; executive members, Messrs. J. N. Anderson, E. G. Foster, J. Sellar, J. W. Johns and F. A. Hosking; auditor, Mr. M, S. Campbell; men's match committee, the captain, vice-captain, Mr. J. W. John 3 and Mr. F. Duncan; men's selector and handicapper, Mr. H. J. Short. _ Officers were elected in the ladies' division as follows:—President. Mrs. David Roulston; captain, Mrs. O'Loughlin; vice-cap-tain. Mrs. Hosking: secretary. Mrs. E.
