At the last meeting of the Palmerston North Hospital Board it was decided to write off accounts amounting to £6794 6s Bd. Nash, M.P., said they had been investigated, and he was convinced that not one shilling of the amounts' unpaid was recoverable. The managing-secretary said accounts amounting to about £32,000 were being carried on the books.
