At tho Oroua Down's sports meeting George Lamb, aged 17, was thrown from his horse during tho pony-leaping competition, owing to the animal striking a rail of a hurdle. He was taken to the Palmersfcort North Hospital in an unconscious state and suffering from concussion. To-day. he has partly 'recovered consciousness.
