SAFETY OF AUSTRALIA.

TRAINING AT DUNTROON.

VIEW OF SIR lAN HAMILTON.

LONDON, March 12.

Sir lan Hamilton in an interview said: " I hold strongly the view, from which I have never departed, that the future safety of Australia depends largely upon the vigour and health of her military brains at Duntroon. Amalgamation of the naval and military colleges would be a reversion to the times of Queen Elizabeth, when generals commanded the fleets •and admirals the armies."
