MORGAN DEFEATS GRIME. POOR BOUT WON ON POINTS. [BV -TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] DUNEDIN. Tuesday. The fight between Ted Morgan, lOst. 3£lb., and Billy Grime, 9st. 121b., in His Majesty's Theatre this evening went the full distance. Morgan won comfortably on points. The contest was marked by holding and clinching practically throughout. Grime was the worst offender, and in desperation Morgan threw him to the floor on one occasion. Little variety was shown in the methods of the men. Grime relied practically throughout the whole fight on his'right hand, and Morgan on his left. Morgan fought hard in the last round for a knock-out, and it was only by clever smothering and ducking that Grime saved himself. The referee, Mr. Don Paterson, had heavy work in calling to the boxers to break, and rushing between the two men in a manner never previously ■experienced in a fight, in Dunedin. There was a crowded attendance.
