HAGEN AND KIRKWOOD. FOUR BALL MATCH WON. (Received March 18, 12.45 a.m.) MELBOURNE. March 17. Walter Hagen and J. H. Kirkwood, in a four ball golf match at the Royal Melbourne links, defeated R. Jupp, professional champion of Victoria, and Arthur Lefevre, the Royal Melbourne Club's professional, three and one. Hagen was not quite up to form, but Kirkwood played an excellent game.
