RELIGION IN RUSSIA.
PERSECUTION DEPLORED. FREE CHURCHES IN BRITAIN. (Received March 14, 10.55 p.m.) LONDON. March 14. The delegates to the Conference of Free Churches at Nottingham passed a resolution expressing horror at the religious persecution in Russia, and appealing for freedom for religious belief. ATHEIST PROPAGANDA. WOMEN TO BE EMPLOYED. MOSCOW. March 13. The atheists at the head of the antiGod movement in Russia believe its success depends upon undermining the faith of women. Consequently they have decided that half tho thousands of propagandists who are to be chosen shortly shall be women.
