YESTERDAY'S WEATHER.
CONDITIONS IN SOUTH. Auckland. —The fine summer weather which has been experienced since the beginning of the mouth, continued yesterday. Tho wind • was light from the North and the barometer was practically steady at 30.40 in. Wellington.—The day was'overcast, the clouds breaking for very short spe" s only, while there was a warm, brisk northerly. There was no alteration in the weather at night. Christchurch. —The weather yesterday was pleasant, although the sky became overcast in the late afternoon. The wind was moderate to light from the north-east, and the temperature reached 62 degrees. In the early morning, how ever, it was down to 32 on the giass. The barometer fell 15 points during th® day, and the reading in the evening «" aS 30.066 in. Dunedin.—The weather was cloudy a™ fine yesterday morning, but light in^er 1 * mittent .rain fell later. The wind wai very light from north-east. The ba'O meter was high, but showed a tendency.
