Salt hardens the gums, makes the teeth white and sweetens the breath. Sait in warm' water, if used for tired eyes, will be found very refreshing. Soak your feet in salt and water if your feet are tired- it will be found very soothing and refreshing. Salt and water will stop haemorrhage from tooth extraction, bait used dry in the same manner as snuff will do much to rolieve colds hay fever, etc Salt thrown on soot which has fallen on 'the carpet, will prevent stains, bait used in sweeping carpets will keep out moths. Salt added to the water in which cut flowers stand keeps them fresh. Salt as a gargle will remove soreness in throat.
