MAN AND BABY'S DUMMY,
There was an amusing incident at a meeting of the Cardigan Rufal District Council in January, when Mr. Gwendraetli James, the senior member, produced a child's dummy, and. brandishing-it before his fellow-Councillors, remarked, " I knew you. were going to quarrel- again today, so I brought this for you to amusa yourselves with>" The discussion was concerning a dispute between two farmers about a piece of.roadside wasto. . The.chairman, Rev. C. J. Robinson, was reading extracts from the Highway Act. when Mr, James interrupted.The Chairman: "Listen, Mr. James, and you will find it interesting." " Yes;" retorted Mr. James, "like of your Sunday sermons."- .
