PRESIDENT'S AT HOME

An At Home was given bv Mrs J. C. Badelev, president of the Mount Hobson Croquet Club yesterday afternoon, to the members of the club, and also to iepresent at ives of sister clubs, lhe weather remained fine and a cool breeze made playing most cnioyablc. Afternoon tea was served in the pavilion, which was decorated in the club colours of red and white, flowers in these shades being arranged on the tables. _ During the afternoon two members of the (-lull, IMI. Ilarbutt. green superintendent, and Mrs. Harbutt. a vice-president, who are leaving shortly on a visit to England, were presented respectively with a bridge set and a Jeather travelling case in the form of a cushion, by the president, Mrs. Badelev. on behalf of the members.
