LEAGUE FOOTBALL.
CONTRACT TERMINATED. DAVIDSON FOR NEW ZEALAND. Advice by cablegram states that B. Davidson, the Rugby League footballer, hasi tcrminated his contract with tho Wigan Club. England, and sailed for New Zealand yesterday. Davidson accepted a three years engagement, with *Ho famous Club, and during his term met. with a fair amount of success. Last season lie played particularly well, but his form of Into was not so good. Davidson was offered a renewal or tne contract, or the chance of pln.yinnr with Fluddersfield, but his decision to return to Auckland wns not unexpected. He will return via Australia, accompanied by his wife and son, who was bora during his stay in England.
