THE AUCKLAND TEAM.
INCLUSION OF H. HUNT.
The selectors of the Auckland Cricket Association, Messrs. N. C. Sncdden, E. C. Beale and W. J. Smeeton, have chosen ft. Hunt, the Ponsonby wicketkoeper, to replaco W. R. Garrard, of Cambridge, in tho team to play Wellington for the Plunket Shield. It was originally thought Hunt was'unavailable and Garrard was chosen; but when the latter notified his inability to make the. trip the selectors ascertained Hunt could go South. ,
Tho Ponsonby player has shown good form with tho gloves in club matches this stason and should perform with credit in representative cricket.
THE WELLINGTON PLAYERS. [BY telegraph.—press association. ] WELLINGTON, Sunday. Tho following players have been selected to. represent Wellington in the Plunket Shield match against Auckland, starting on Friday:— Lowry, Dempster, Foley, Cameron (Rangitaiki), Hollings, James, McLeod, McGirr, Masscy (Masterton), Gallicha'n (Manawatu), Henderson.
