JUDGE EXPRESSES VIEWS.

MELBOURNE, Feb. 14.

Mr. Justice Beeby, in the Arbitration Court to-day, said he did not subscribe to the view that to lower the rate of wages was the only remedy for depression. Without combined efforts to reduce the cost of living he considered that interference with wages could be justifiably resisted.
