ELECTION OF SHIPBUILDER.

British Wireless. RUGBY, Feb. 13 The Grand Council of the Federation oi British Industries yesterday nominated Sir James Lithgow as president-elect in succession to the retiring president, Mr. Lennox Lee.

Sir James is head of the largest firm of shipbuilders in the world. He was president of the Shipbuilding Employers' Federation in 1921, and later became president of the National Confederation of Employers. He was a delegate of the British employers to the recent International Labour Conference at Geneva.
