AKARANA CLUB.
LAUNCH HANDICAPS DECLARED
The following launch handicaps have been declared for tlip Akarana Yacht Club's harbour races to-day:—Ramona, scr; Kathryn R., 5m 38s; Kenya, 5m 465; Nvria, 8m 255.
The schooner-yacht Valkyrio will be flagship and will be moored south of the compass dolphin in Judge's Bay.
RACE FOR AUXILIARY YACHTS. A race between the auxiliary yachts Tiielma, YVaitangi. Ilex and Kotuku will bo held this afternoon. Tho handicaps and destination will bo arranged this morning.
NORTHCOTE REGATTA
The aquatic "sports in connection with tho Nortlicoto, and Birkenhead" regatta will be held next Saturday afternoon at Hinenioa adjacent to the Birkenhead Wharf. An at tract ivo programme uf swimming and dinghy, races and various water competitions has been prepared. Post entries will be received for thifiso events.
Entries for Iho sailing and power races will close on Monday, February 24, and tho regatta will bo held 011 March 1. The flagship will bo the auxiliary ketch Miro, which will bo moored to the southwest of (lie Northcoto Wharf in a lino with the Ron a buoy, while the mark buoy at the starting lino will bo located north-cast of the-flagship and toward the Northcoto Wharf.
