REUNION OF PASSENGERS.

THE SHIP BRITISH EMPIRE*

A rernion of passengers of the ship British Empire will be held in the Farmers" Union Cafe next Thursday. The ship arrived in the Waitomata Harbour on February 4, 1880, with 350 passengers, of whom about 30 survivors are expected! to attend the gathering. A meeting for the exchange of reminiscences and afternoon tea will be held at two o'clock to be followed by motor trips and a dinner later in the evening.
