ABOUT COLOURS.
ADVANCE OF SUMMER.
With the advanco of summer, black has again como into favour for evening wear. The simply mado low-back black dress is chosen by the well-dressed woman, when she spends a few days in town during the holidays. Bottle green has repeatedly been mentioned as one of the colours for the coming -months. Tweeds showing a combination of beige, brown, and green will be worn effectively with green accessories. All-green evening gowns, both in pastel tonos and in deeper shades, are being looked upon with favour. Blues and white are chosen for evening wear, because they go well with a sunburnt skin. There is hardly a colour that has not been spoken of at one time or another as possessing this essential. Pure white, eggshell, cream, turquoise blue, black, bluish greens, greenish blues, various shades of violet, and even yellow.
Grey is one of the few colours that by no' stretch of the imagination could be regarded as flattering to the sunburnt complexion.
