MILFORD FLYING TRAGEDY.
Sir,—Having assisted in recovering the Dornier flying boat from the water at Milford Beach, following its disastrous crash, I wish to dismiss any doubt as to the non-existence of a stone in th* cockpit. Upon seeing the position in which the stone lay on the pilot's knees before it was removed and thrown into the \vater I regard the stone in question as.being one of the chief causes of the tragedy. John J. Mair.
