Following are the results:—* 100 YARDS JUNIOR GIRLS'. CHAMPIONSHIP. Final.—Miss Rainey (Auckland), Ij Miss Low (Canterbury), 2; Miss Slither* land (Canterbury), 3. Won by three yards. Time, 80 1-S&J The three swimmers were on even terms for two laps, but then the winner went ahead and won by three yards. Tha( others were close together at th§ finish* 220 YARDS MEN'S BREASTSTROKEj CHAMPIONSHIP. Final.—L. Smith (Wanganui), 1: G.Griffiths (Canterbury), 2; J. Hardiq (West Coast), 3. Hardie led in the first lap; then SmitK headed him. Won by 18 yArds in on* 8 2-ss. Hardie was 16 yards further , away. $ 100 YARDS LADIES' BACKSTROKE < CHAMPIONSHIP. CHAMPIONSHIP. Final. —R. McConville (Canterbury),-1; J. Hattersley (Canterbury), 2; Thomas (Auckland), 3. The winner took ths( lead with Thomas. Hattersley and Gelt late close up in that order. Then Hatterst ley caught the leader at the last turn, but McConville had the reserve which enabled him to win by a foot. Time, 62 l-ss< 220 YARDS MEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP* Final.—G.
