BOLIVIA AND PARAGUAY.

RECRUDESCENCE OF TROUBLE

NOTE SENT TO LEAGUE,

LONDON, Jan. 21

The Geneva correspondent of the Daily Mail says the Paraguayan Government, in a Note to the League of Nations, states that it intercepted a wireless code message from General Kundt, ordering the 4th and sth Divisions of the Bolivian Army to be ready to take the offensive against: Paraguay. Bolivia and Paraguay have long been in dispute over the territory known as the Gran Chacho. A serious clash occurred in December, 1928, when war was prevented only by swift action on the part of the League of Nations.
