KNOCKED DOWN ON ROAD.
MOTHER AND DAUGHTERS.
SERIOUS INJURIES SUSTAINED-
[|IY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] HUNTLY, Saturday. Three people walking on the road about two miles north of Huntly last evening were struck by a large motor-car that was proceeding southward. The persons injured are:—Mrs. W. Armstrong, broken leg, internal and external injuries; Miss Greta Armstrong, aged about 18, broken leg and fractured skull; a younger daughter who sustained considerable shock. Mr. F. Harris, of Huntly, summoned Dr. Douglas, junr., who is at present in charge of the Huntly Hospital. The injured people were taken to the Huntly Hospital, where temporary aid was administered, and were then removed to the Waikato Hospital, Hamilton. The car was slightly damaged. f • '
