HIGH OPINION IN BRITAIN.
FINANCIERS AND BUSINESS MEN.

The high opinion in which New Zealand is held by financiers qnd leading business people at. Home was referred to by the general manager of the National Bank of New Zealand, and chairman • of the Associated Banks, Mr. J. T. Grose, who returned to Wellington by thq Rangitano from England this evening. "New Zealand is the most highly regarded at Home of almost all the Dominions," said Mr. Grose. "There is no doubt that more confidence is placed in New Zealand in a general sense, not a particular ono. The Dominion is held in very high esteem. You can gauge the extent of the confidence in which New Zealand is held by the very fine standard of its loans. The more you sec of English people tiie more you are impressed with their quiet strength."
